Automatic Sliding Door

Automatic sliding doors, supplied and installed across Malaysia

We are an auto door supplier and installer in Malaysia. We supply, install and service automatic sliding door systems for commercial buildings — shopfronts and showrooms, hospitals and clinics, offices, factories and public buildings. Our workshop is in Semenyih, Selangor. We cover the Klang Valley directly and the rest of Malaysia, including East Malaysia, through our project and service network.

We are the key distributor for GEZE in Malaysia and we build our own KBA Door Hardware range. That matters for one practical reason: when an operator fails three years after installation, the spare part is on our shelf in Semenyih, not on a twelve-week order from Europe.

High-traffic and heavy openings

The KBA SL250 and GEZE Powerdrive PL are built for wide leaves, heavy glass and entrances cycling thousands of times a day — supermarkets, shopping malls and hospital main entrances.

The GEZE TSA HT ECdrive T2 hermetic system seals the opening so air pressure is maintained in operating theatres, isolation wards and cleanrooms.

Quiet interior doors

The GEZE CS 80 MAGNEO runs on linear induction rather than a conventional belt drive, so it operates almost silently. It suits consultation rooms and interiors where noise matters.

A swing operator automates the existing leaf without replacing it. See our automatic swing doors, including the GEZE Powerturn, ED 100 and KBA SD 100.

Where the track, leaf and frame are sound and only the automation has failed, the drive can be changed on its own. See sliding door operators and door openers.

What supply and installation involves

What supply and installation involves

Send us the clear opening width, the weight and construction of the leaf — aluminium framed, frameless glass or solid timber — and the expected daily traffic. We size the operator from that and quote it.

A standard single or bi-parting sliding door is normally installed in one working day, provided the frame is ready and power is available at the header. Sensors, safety beams, battery backup for fire egress and access control integration are all specified at quotation stage, so nothing is discovered on site. Every installation is commissioned to the manufacturer’s settings and handed over with those settings documented.

Servicing and spare parts

Servicing and spare parts

An automatic door is a mechanical system under constant load, and its safety sensors need checking as much as its motor does. We recommend servicing twice a year for high-traffic entrances and once a year for lower-traffic office and clinic doors.

We service and hold genuine spare parts locally for GEZE and KBA Door Hardware systems, including systems installed by others.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an auto door cost in Malaysia?

We quote per opening, because four things drive the price: the clear opening width, the weight and construction of the leaf (frameless glass costs more than aluminium framed), whether a suitable frame and power supply already exist, and the sensor and safety specification. A single-leaf shopfront door sits at the lower end; a wide bi-parting glass entrance for a hospital or supermarket, with battery backup and redundant safety sensors, sits well above it. Send us the opening dimensions and we will quote it properly instead of guessing.

One working day for a standard single or bi-parting sliding door, provided the frame is ready and power is available at the header. Hermetic, telescopic and curved systems, or installations needing structural or electrical work first, take two to three days.

Yes, for GEZE and KBA Door Hardware systems, because we hold genuine spare parts for both. For other brands we would need to look at the system first, as parts availability is the deciding factor.

A sliding operator moves the leaf sideways along a track above the opening. It suits heavy pedestrian traffic and openings where there is no room for a door to swing. A swing operator automates a hinged door in its existing frame, which makes it the usual choice for retrofitting accessibility to an existing entrance and for fire-rated doors.

Twice a year for high-traffic entrances such as supermarkets, shopping malls and hospitals; once a year for lower-traffic office, clinic and showroom doors. Servicing is also when the safety sensors are re-tested, which is the part that matters most for liability.

We are based in Semenyih, Selangor, and cover the Klang Valley directly. We serve the rest of Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak, through our project and service network.

An autogate is a powered gate at the boundary of a property, usually residential, moving a heavy gate leaf slowly across a driveway. An auto door is a pedestrian entrance system at or inside the face of a building, moving a lighter leaf quickly and repeatedly, with sensors that must detect a person standing in the opening. They are different products with different safety requirements and they are not interchangeable.

Usually yes. If the entrance is a hinged door, a swing operator automates the existing leaf. If it is a sliding entrance with the track already in place, the operator alone can often be replaced. What has to be checked first is the header — whether there is structure above the opening to carry the operator, and whether power can be brought to it.

That is a specification decision made before installation, not afterwards. Systems on escape routes are specified with battery backup so the door opens and stays open on power loss. Where the opening is not an escape route, the door can instead be set to fail secure. Tell us which the opening is and we will specify it accordingly.

A properly specified and serviced commercial operator should give well over a decade of service. What shortens that is almost always under-specification — a light-duty operator on a heavy leaf, or on far more daily cycles than it was rated for — followed by skipped servicing.
